The rainy season often has an impact on home comfort, one of which is the appearance of mice.

Yep, cold and damp conditions are one of the factors that cause mice to look for warmer and drier places. These animals often sneak in through small cracks or drains, causing damage and potential health threats.

The presence of mice in the house during the rainy season is a problem that needs to be watched out for, because apart from disturbing comfort, they can also carry dangerous diseases. Rats like to look for warm and dry places during cold weather and the rainy season to take shelter, find food and water.

Dealing with rat problems during the rainy season can be a challenge, because rats often look for drier and more comfortable places to shelter from the rain. Here are 8 effective ways to deal with mice during the rainy season:

1.) Use an Ultrasonic Tool

Mice can be expelled using ultrasonic sound. This mouse repellent makes a loud noise that disturbs mice but is safe for humans.

Install and turn on the ultrasonic rat repellent device on the roof of the house or in a place where rats are likely to nest. Later, the mice nesting there will feel uncomfortable and leave the house.

2.) Regularly clean up trash

Regularly clean up trash and food scraps that can attract mice.

It is also important to store food in a closed place and make sure there is no food leftovers. Keep the area around the house clean, especially in damp places that can become a breeding ground for mice.

3.) Top with White Vinegar

The next way to get rid of mice without chemicals is to use vinegar.

This natural ingredient is considered effective because it has a strong aroma, which can make mice run away and not dare return to the ceiling or other parts of the house.

How to use it is easy, just drop vinegar in the corners of the room or places where mice nest. In this way, you can also minimize damage and keep the ceiling free from these rodents.

4.) Use of Natural Repellants

Several natural ingredients can be used to repel mice, such as peppermint oil and garlic.
